MP accuses Kurdistan Region of committing serious violations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Salman al-Musawi of the State of law Coalition accused Kurdistan Region of committing serious political and economic transgressions.

Musawi stated to IraqiNews.com “Kurdistan Region commits serious economic, political and military violations where all these files will be revealed and published for the public,” stressing that “The first loser in the crisis between Baghdad and Erbil is the Kurdish people therefore it is better for the Kurds to get to the dialogue table.”

“Among these violations is, the sheltering of the fugitive former Vice President, Tariq al-Hashimi, the diplomatic violation represented by the visit of the Turkish Foreign Minister to the Region, in addition to revoking the neighboring and world countries against Iraq,” he added confirming “As for the economic transgression it is represented by conducting smuggling operations and opening of the unofficial border crossings at the Kurdistan Region.”

He continued saying “The detained terrorists and smugglers are released by force by Peshmerga military forces,” pointing out that “There are evidences for purchasing weapons by the Kurdistan Region from international companies of different types, heavy, medium and light weapons.”
