MP Alawi: Sadr Trend, best choice for me during next elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hassan al-Alawi, assured that he did not prefer any other political slate to the slate of the Sadr Trend.

In a statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “Announcing the nomination within a slate depends on the decision of the slate itself and I cannot announce joining the slate officially without its approval, but the misinterpretation of my latest slate over this issue, made me to be clearer during this statement and I do not deny nominating my self within the Sadr Trend.”

“Some of the media outlets misinterpreted my statement and considered it as a rejection to join the Sadr Trend where I assure that the Sadr Trend is the best choice for me to join,” he concluded.
