Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Independent MP, Jawad al-Bazoni, expected endorsing the Federal Financial Budget of 2013 in addition to a number of disputed law drafts through a political deal to be concluded among the blocs.
He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The Federal Budget may not be endorsed during 2012 and the disputes over it may continue till the first three months of 2013 due to the lack of the final accounts of 2012 budget.”
“Some blocs’ demands like the demands of Basra MPs to allocate more allocations for Basra in addition to demands for other provinces were not accomplished,” he added.
“The Kurdistani Alliance calls to increase the allocations for Peshmerga forces while some other sides call to reduce the budget of Kurdistan Region to less than 17%,” he concluded.
