MP: Parliament to endorse law for establishing Governmental Investment Bank

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The member of the Economic and Investment Committee, Aziz al-Mayahi, announced that “The Committee is about to endorse a law project for establishing a Governmental Investment Bank by the Federal Government with a capital of about 3 millions USD.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The project is to establish the bank that will be tasked to grant loans for the citizens to establish their micro-projects or housing units without asking for financial interests.”

“The performance of the National Investment Commissions is not encouraging because it does not have attractive program for the investing companies,” he concluded.
