Musawi: Armament contracts concluded during former years to be reconsidered

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member of the Integrity Parliamentary Committee, Jaafar al-Musawi, revealed that the Committee will reconsider the armament contracts that were concluded by the Government during the former years.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The Committee will investigate these contracts on the background of the corruption suspicions accompanied the armament contracts concluded with Russia.”

“The Committee will not be hesitated in considering every file suspected for corruption to implement its supervisory role granted by the constitution,” he concluded.

Earlier, the Government concluded armament contracts with Russia and Czech and then canceled them for corruption suspicions.
