Mutleg’s office: Political blocs’ meeting of Sunday to be Decisive for IS


Baghdad ( The office of The Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, assured that the meeting that will be held by the political blocs on Sunday will be decisive for the Iraqiya Slate and for the demonstrators’ demands.

A statement by Mutleg’s office received by quoted a source from the office as saying “Mutleg is adherent to attend the five-side Committee meetings to find out solutions for the successive crises that threaten the political scene especially the demonstrations and the protests in a number of provinces.”

“It appeared through these meetings that there is a gap between the demonstrators’ demands and IS form one side and the Iraqi National Alliance from another sides,” the statement added.

“The meeting of last Saturday that continued till late hours at night tackled laws including the General Amnesty law, Justice and Accountability law, Article 4 of Anti-Terrorism Law in addition to issue of the Secret Informer as well as the law of seizing the money No. 88,” the statement mentioned.

“Concerning the meetings of Sunday, the five-side Committee will hold a meeting to prepare for the meeting of the political blocs leaders that will be held later on Sunday,” the statement stressed.

“The IS will call its leaders and members to an exceptional meeting to take decisive resolutions suitable with the critical situation,” the statement concluded.

The Secretary General of the White bloc, Jamal al-Batiekh, clarified that “The Five-side Committee will meet on Sunday evening to study the demonstrators’ demands those related to the general amnesty law and the Accountability and Justice Law.
