Nijaifi, British official discuss scenarios of settling political crisis

Baghdad (AI N) The Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament Osama al-Nijaifi discussed with the British Charge de Affairs Robert Deen the possible scenarios of settling the current political crisis.

A statement by Nijaifi’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited Tuesday “Both sides discussed the developments of the Iraqi political scene which created local and international concerns due to continuity of demonstrations in different Iraqi provinces,” noting that “Nijaifi and Deen also discussed possible scenarios of reliving the current crisis.”

“They also discussed bilateral relations on all levels, especially developing the Iraqi- British parliamentary relations,” the statement concluded.
