Nijaifi cast vote for local elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi voted on Thursday morning for the local elections being conducted in Nineveh and Anbar provinces.

The general polling has started this morning at 7 a.m in Anbar and Nineveh provinces.

The number of the political coalitions participating in Anbar local elections is up to 17 coalitions with 547 nominees while the number of the coalitions in Nineveh is up to 28 ones with 685 nominees, according to the IHEC’s report.
