Nijaifi, Khuzai discuss efforts to end crisis of protests in Anbar

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament Osama al-Nijaifi discussed on a phone call with the Vice-President Khudhayer al-Khuzai efforts to end the crisis between the Iraqi Government and the protestors in Anbar province.

A statement by Nijaifi’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Nijaifi made a phone call with the VP Khudhayer al-Khuzai within his efforts to eliminate the crisis of the protest yard in Ramadi city and find suitable solutions to end this crisis completely.”

The statement added “Both sides emphasized the necessity to take speedy steps to prevent possible complications for the case and prevent the choice of the military option.”
