Nijaifi’s visit to Qatar at current time violates constitution

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Salman al-Musawi, of the State of Law Coalition emphasized that the visit of the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, to Qatar at the current time violates the constitution.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “Nijaifi has no right to travel abroad leaving the open parliament session especially if we know that he prevented MPs from travelling abroad.”

He called “The politicians who have dual stances in supporting the political process and the enemy of Iraq at the same time to settle their stances and to keep their oath that they performed when they assumed their posts.”

“Those who bet on exploiting the demonstrations to create a sectarian sedition failed and they resorted to regional countries for support,” he concluded.
