North Iraq Kurdistan’s “Change” Bloc withdraws from new cabinet:

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: North Iraq Kurdistan’s “Change” Bloc has withdrawn from the new cabinet, proposed by Prime Minister Designate, Nouri al-Maliki, acccording to its spokesman, Sardar Abdullah on Tuesday in a news conference, attended by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The Change Bloc has demanded two service cabinet posts, as well as a deputy prime-minister’s post in the new government, but the constitutionally-authorized party to form the government, represented by the Prime Minister Designate, did not fulfil its obligations, as we were granted one ministerial post only; so we decided to withdraw from the government, though we shall continue our support for the political process through our presence in the parliamentarian opposition,” Abdullah said. “Prime Minister Designate, Nouri al-Maliki, has violated the principlel of national-partnership, through his non-filfilment of his commitments towards us, along with the margination efforts by the National and Kurdistan Alliances to force us return to the Kurdistan Alliance, being part of the sectarian marginalization attempts,” he confirmed.” SKH 34
