( Arbil – The former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki accused Arbil and Ankara of their responsibility to the fall of the city of Mosul (Nineveh province) under the control of the ISIS Organization last summer.

The response of Nuri al-Maliki came, after the appearance of his name in the list of the accused by the commission of inquiry in the fall of Mosul.

Nuri al-Maliki spoke from Tehran, saying: “The fall of Mosul was the result of a conspiracy and a scheme that was made in Arbil in the region of Kurdistan in cooperation with the Turks and intelligence services in Ankara.”

The parliamentary committee of inquiry about the fall of Mosul announced the results of the final report, revealing the names of 36 military and civilian officials.

Iraqi parliament has transmitted the report of the Parliamentary Committee on the fall of Mosul to the judiciary, despite the threat of deputies of coalition of state law to suspend their membership in parliament if the report included the name of al-Maliki, the first defendant in the case.

The secretary-general of the Dawa Party, Nouri al-Maliki left to Tehran last Friday in an unofficial visit.

  1. Fearing the consequences of the report Maliki decided to flee to Tehran as Tehran might provide him shelter and he had nowhere else to flee too.

  2. This lying POS is exactly why you are fighting for your lives. Execute him now and recover the millions he has stolen or be doomed to lose your country and your very lives.
