MP Nusayif urges cut to Kurdistan Region budget from Federal budget

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aliya Nusayif, urged the Government to cut Kurdistan Region’s share of the Federal Budget.

She stated to IraqiNews.com “The Federal Budget involves an article that if Kurdistan Region does not submit the revenues of 400 thousands oil barrels per day, the central Government cuts revenues from its share.”

“The Budget is a law and the law should be implemented with all its articles at any condition,” he added.

“The government must submit a report over Kurdistan Region oil revenues in 2012 and 2013 to allocate Kurdistan Region share according these revenues,” she concluded.
