Nusayif calls to investigate offending chieftains in Anbar last Monday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aliya Nusayif, of the Hurra Iraqiya bloc called “The Parliament Chairmanship and the Parliamentary Tribes Committee to investigate the incident of offending a number of chieftains from southern and central Iraq in Anbar province on last Monday.

She stated to IraqiNews.com “Some of the infiltrators threw water bottles and other things against the chieftains during their visit to Anbar on last Monday,” noting that “This is unacceptable behavior especially if consider that these chieftains came to Anbar seeking solutions for the current crisis.”

“The demonstrators used to blame infiltrating sides of being behind such activities but we did not notice any procedure taken by the organizing sides against them,” she added.

“The organizers of the demonstrations must dismiss the infiltrators and to cooperate with the Government to confront them as outlaws,” she mentioned.

“The organizers of the demonstrations must hand over these sides to the Government,” she concluded.

A number of chieftains from central and southern Iraq accused Qaeda and Baath elements of being behind offending them during their visit to Anbar on last Monday.
