Nusayif denies accusing chieftains of receiving foreign support to finance demonstrations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aliya Nusayif, denied accusing “The Chieftains of receiving foreign support for financing the demonstrations in some of the provinces.”

In a statement received by IraqiNews.com, she confirmed “The Chieftains are the safety for the Iraqis and we hope them to be supporters for the political process and to scandalize the attempts of some politicians to destabilize the security in Iraq.”

“Some figures, who think of their personal interests only, attributed to the political scene, are receiving the foreign support to exploit the demonstrations by supporting sectarian slogans and lifting the photos of the former regime,” she concluded.
