Nusayif describes Nijaifi’s withdrawal from Social Peace Initiative as "Known early electoral propaganda"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aliya Nusayif, of the Hurra Iraqiya Alliance described the withdrawal of the parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, from the Social Peace Initiative and the member of his alliance from the parliament as “A known early electoral propaganda.”

She stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com “It is surprising to see Nijaifi in the press conference announces the withdrawal from the Social Peace Initiative without praising the Iraqi Army that fights the terrorist groups to rescue the citizens.”

“The Social Peace Initiative is an honor document that obliges that sides signed it to adhere to their moral obligations where withdrawing from it is rejected by the society and the resignations of the members of Motahidoun Alliance must be according to the constitution,” she added.

“Since the current term of the parliament is about to finish, we can understand that Nijaifi’s decision is a known early electoral propaganda and if his MPs were serious in submitting their resignations, they would do it without the media escalation,” she concluded.
