5 other groups of PKK militants arrive to Kurdistan

(IraqiNews.com) Five groups of the PKK elements have arrived to Kurdistan Region of Iraq on Sunday.

Informed press sources reported on Sunday “Five groups from the PKK militants arrived to Kurdistan so far, but only two groups’ arrival was announced.”

“The arrival of all the groups will be announced when completing the withdrawal process,” according to these sources.

The military wing of the PKK announced on last Tuesday the arrival of first group of the PKK militants to Kurdistan.

The PKK announced on 15 of current May the arrival of the second group of the PKK militants to Kurdistan Region which comprised ten gunmen and five gunwomen.

For its part, the Iraqi government announced that it will submit a complaint to the UN Security Council to protest the entry of the PKK elements to Iraq, stressing “The withdrawal of the Turkish opposition to Iraq will harm Iraq’s relations with Turkey.”

While Kurdistan Regional government announced that it is not part of the problem and that it is the central government’s natural right to protest this issue.
