Parliament Chairmanship meets heads of blocs over PCs elections law

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliament Chairmanship started a meeting with the heads of the Parliamentary blocs to discuss the issue of the Provincial Councils Elections law in addition to other important issues.

Parliamentary source stated to IraqiNews.com “The meeting will discuss the issue of the PCs elections after the rejection of the Federal Court for the distribution of the vacant seats,” noting that “The meeting also will tackle the issue of the Financial Budget of 2013.”

It is worth mentioning that the Federal Court rejected the article related to the distributing the vacant seats in the PCs elections law because it violates the constitution.
