Parliamentary Security & Defense Committee heads to Kurdistan Region to settle recent crisis between CG, Kurdistan RegionG

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A delegation from the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee held a meeting with the Office of the General Commander of the Armed Forces to mediate in settling the crisis between the Central Government and Kurdistani Regional Government.

The member of the Committee, MP Adnan al-Mayahi, stated to IraqiNews.com “The delegation will meet the security leaders within the Office of the GCAF to review the dimensions of the crisis between the CG and Kurdistan RegionG in support for the initiative of the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, to end the crisis between the two sides.”

“The first step to solve the disputes is to resort to the media pacification to help in reaching a common solution to please all sides,” he continued.

“The Committee will head to Kurdistan Region to meet the commanders of the Peshmerga forces to listen to their viewpoint over the crisis to decide the common points upon which the solution could be reached,” he concluded.
