PUK condemns Kirkuk bombings

Baghdad ( The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan condemned the bombings that took place in Kirkuk province and Tuz Khurmatu district on Wednesday.

A statement by the PUK quoted the spokesperson of PUK’s political office, Aazad Jundiyani as saying “We strongly condemn the terrorist bombings that targeted Kirkuk and Tuz Khurmatu district which killed and injured dozens of civilians,” stressing that “Addressing the problems in those areas can be achieved through applying the article 140 of the constitution and canceling the unsound resolutions taken by the General Command of the Armed Forces.”

Kirkuk province has witnessed on Wednesday morning two bombings by car bombs targeting the building of the PUK and that of Kurdistani Democratic Party.
