Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Suzan al-Saad of the Iraqi National Alliance criticized “Neglecting the issue of discussing last Sunday bombings by the Council of Ministers and by the parliament.”

In a statement received by IraqiNews.com, she stated that “It is not possible for such breaches to take place without considering them or finding the suitable solutions for them,” noting that “We called many times to activate the intelligence efforts that represent the starting point to eliminate terrorism.”

“If such breaches take place in the advanced countries, the senior officials will resign but in Iraq there is no change and we have not taken any step to prevent such terrorist attacks,” she emphasized.

“The officials responsible for the security file must respond to the calls for upgrading the intelligence Department by supporting it financially and enrolling professional figure in this department,” she concluded.

Earlier, Baghdad, Kirkuk, Basra, Salah al-Din, Dhi-Qar, Maysan and Nineveh provinces witnessed car bombings that resulted in killing and injuring dozens of citizens on last Sunday.
