Sadrist MP accuses Maliki of linking joint efforts of blocs to himself

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Amir al-Kinani, of the al-Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend, accused the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, of attempting to link the joint efforts to himself.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The joint efforts of the political blocs and the ministers were linked to Maliki which resulted in suspending the attending of al-Ahrar bloc from the ministerial committee tasked to discuss the demonstrators’ demands where its achievements are considered for Maliki in spite of forming it from different political blocs.”

“The Iraqi National Alliance holds Maliki’s negative points, whereas the achievements are for him only, but the right issue is that all the sides of INA participates in making the decisions and the achievements,” he concluded.
