Sadrist MP criticizes negotiations between Baghdad – Erbil

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Hussein al-Mansouri of Ahrar bloc associated to Sadr Trend criticized the recent negotiations between the Iraqi Central Government and Kurdistan Regional Government, noting “It is illogic to discuss amending the federal budget after it was approved.”

Mansouri told IraqiNews.com “The political situation is unclear where crises are created by multiple sides followed by negotiations on account of the people,” confirming “The government is supposed to pay attention to the people’s feelings.”

“The government created many crises, first of all the crisis with the Kurdish sides, then the crises with the western and northern regions and sparking of a crisis with the protestors,” he added.

“The government’s attitude towards the crises is fuzzy where we do not know its plans,” he stressed.
