Services, Construction Committee: Political interferences affect performance of Committee

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Services and Construction Parliamentary Committee assured that “political interferences affect its performance.”

The head of the Committee, Viyan Khalil stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Some blocs and parties practice political interferences on the Committee to hinder the projects and law drafts of the Committee in the parliament despite the fact that the members of the Committee are doing their best to finalize those law drafts to serve Iraq.”

“There are many projects and law drafts completed by the Committee, but the political interferences by the blocs do not allow them to be endorsed,” she concluded.

It is worth mentioning that some MPs of the State of Law Coalition headed by the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, criticized Khalil for accusing the government of delaying the endorsement of the law drafts.
