Shathir describes political defamation as "Failed attempt to attract voters"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Qais al-Shather, of the Iraqiya Slate said “The political defamation practiced by some candidates is a failed attempt to attract voters.”

He stated to IraqiNews.com “These sides proved their failure by adopting this dishonest competition among the blocs for the sake of winning in the elections.”

“The political defamation and launching accusations and rumors are attempts to attract the voters in the upcoming elections,” he concluded.
