Sihail calls Parliament to calm down tensions following Falluja events

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The First Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Qusai al-Sihail called on Saturday to calm down the current tensions concerning the events that took place in Falluja city on last Friday and to form cell operation to follow up the event’s details away from the political issues.

He said in a statement by the Parliament’s media office “The Parliament should play important role in calming down the tensed situation as we face serious challenges that might hit the constitutional institutions.”

“There are mistakes in the political process that must be addressed where the Parliament should be factor for calming the tensions rather than for escalating them,” Sihail concluded.
