Sihail calls to summon security leaders at parliament

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Safiya al-Sihail called to summon the security leaders at the Parliament’s next session.

Sihail said “I call on the parliament to summon the security leaders and not to restrict their investigations on the parliamentary Security & Defense Committee.”

“The escalation of the political disputes is exploited by the terrorist groups to carry out their crimes here and there in Iraq,” she added wondering over the failure of the security forces in fighting the terrorism in spite of the recent strict security measures which paralyzed the movement of the citizens in Baghdad.”

Baghdad witnessed on Sunday a wave of car bomb explosions that targeted people markets, where dozens of civilians were killed and injured.
