SLC MP accuses KSA, Qatar, Turkey of hurdling political process in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Baha Jamal al-Din al-Safi, of the State of Law Coalition accused “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey of attempting to weaken and hurdle the political process in Iraq.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “These countries have a role in hindering the performance of the Iraqi State,” noting that “These countries do not want Iraq to progress.”

“These countries, which attempt to control the region, are agents for the major powers to implement the sectarian agenda in the region like what is going on in Syria,” he added.

“Through its balanced policies in the region, Iraq becomes an impediment for these countries so they try to weaken its security and political role in the region,” he assured.
