SLC MP calls government to strictly reply to Turkish violations against Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Shakir al-Daraji, of the State of Law Coalition called the government to strictly reply to the violations of the Turkish government against Iraq.

He stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com “The accusations of the Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayib Erdogan against the Iraqi government as being a government of minority and based on sectarianism, are not real and do not authorize him to interfere in the Iraqi internal affairs.”

“Such statements help to create the sectarian sedition in Iraq,” he added, noting that “The Turkish interference in the Iraqi affairs is repeated and the government must reply strictly to stop such violations.”

“The government has to reconsider all its relations with Turkey by dismissing the Turkish companies in Iraq and canceling all the contracts with them in addition to stop the commercial and economic deals with it,” he pointed out.

He called “The Iraqi people, in all its sects, to condemn Erdogan’s statements and not to be adopt them to create the sectarian sedition.”

Earlier, Erdogan described the Iraqi government as “Sectarian,” expressing his concerns over “Making Iraq like Syria,” assuring that “Iraq has Sunni, Shiite, Turkmen and Kurds where I hope it to be united.”
