SLC MP calls INA to consult Religious Authority over formation of next government

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Sameera al-Mousawi, of the State of Law Coalition called the Iraqi National Alliance to consult the Religious Authority represented by the Grand Ayatollah, Ali al-Sistani, over the formation of the next government.

She stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com “Grand Ayatollah Sistani does not interfere in the political issues but he does not hesitate to provide the consultation,” calling the political sides to “Consult Ayatollah Sistani over the formation of the next government because he is the safety of Iraq.”
