Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Sameera al-Mousawi, of the State of Law Coalition stressed the necessity of the attendance of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, in the parliament session that will have the investigation of the Deputy Premier, Hussein al-Shihristani, over the electric crisis in Iraq.

In a press conference held at the parliament building on Saturday, she said “Maliki must attend the parliament session that will witness investigating Shihristani,” criticizing the attendance of “The Electricity Minister, Karim Aftan, without his Undersecretaries in spite of calling them to attend the session.”

“Shihristani instructed not to deal with the laggard Turkish companies, but the Electricity Ministry continued its deals with them,” she added, noting that “The electric crisis is for a long time since the former Electric Minister, Karim Wahid, who was described by Maliki as the only one who can settle it.”
