Successive political crises paralyze performance of Parliament, Government, says MP

Baghdad ( MP Hassan al-Sari of the parliamentary Citizen bloc stressed that “The successive political crises led to paralyzing the Parliament’s performance and disturbed endorsing many law drafts.”

Sari added in a statement received by “The ongoing political problems resulted in floundering the Parliament’s action and the Government’s performance.”

It is worth mentioning that the Iraqi Parliament postponed several times the vote on important laws such as the Federal Court Law draft and the General Amnesty law and others due to lack of consensus among the political blocs over those laws’ drafts.
