Talabani congratulates Muslims in world, Iraq on occasion of new Hijri year

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The President, Jalal Talabani, congratulated the Muslims in the world and Iraq on the occasion of the new Hijri year.

Talabani stated in a presidential statement received by IraqiNews.com “On the occasion of the new Hijri year, I would like to congratulate all the Muslims in the world and Iraq, wishing them more success in the building the democratic Iraq.”

“I ask the Almighty to make this new year a basis for establishing the security and democracy and to keep Iraq in peace and intimacy,” he concluded.
