Talabani, Turkish Ambassador to Iraq discuss mutual relations

Baghdad ( The President, Jalal Talabani, reaffirmed his Iraq’s willingness, in a meeting with Turkish ambassador to Iraq, to cooperate with Turkey in every field including politics, economic, trade and culture.”

A presidential statement received by cited “In a meeting on Sunday with Turkish ambassador to Iraq Younis Demerer in Dukan resort in Sulaimani, Talabani expressed Iraq’s keenness to expand the bilateral ties with Turkey in politics, economic, trade and culture as well as other fields.”

“He insisted that strong bilateral ties would work in both nations’ advantages in establishing peace and brotherhood in the region,” the statement added.

“There were also talks concerning ways to bolster those ties and the ambassador valued Talabani’s attempts in that regard,” the statement concluded.
