Talabani’s adviser receives delegation from Touz Khormato

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A senior adviser to the Iraqi president has received a delegation comprised of notables from Touz Khormato district who arrived in Sulaimaniya to deliver the demands of their local residents. “On behalf of President Jalal al-Talabani, his senior adviser, Fakhri Kareem received a delegation from Touz Khormato district, who outlined the demands and problems of local residents with regards to education, health, road services, agriculture and security,” according to a presidential statement received by Iraqi News. Kareem has promised to pass on their demands to the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government Kurdistan RegionG). The delegation included al-Touz chieftain, Adel Othman; Salah al-Din’s deputy governor, Amin Aziz Jawad and several local officials. Touz Khormato lies 80 km from Kirkuk city, which is 250 km northeast of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. SS (P) 1
