Timimi calls to dismiss 65 key officials within MoI according to JAC law

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ali al-Timimi, of Ahrar Parlaimentary bloc called to dismiss 65 General Directors among the Baathists within the Ministry of Interior according to the law of the Justice and Accountability Commission.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “65 current officials within the MoI are Baathists,” expressing his wonder over “Not applying the JAC procedures against them.”

“Keeping these Baathists in the Ministry is a constitutional violation,” he added.

“Those who call to criminalize Baath Party should debaathificate the Baathists from the MoI especially after the terrible failure of the General Commander of the Armed Forces to sustain security,” he concluded.
