Urgent – – SLC’s MPs withdraw from Parliament’s session

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The MPs of the State of Law Coalition withdrew from the Parliament session to protest the Parliament’s Chairmanship insistence on discussing the Independent High Electoral Commission Amendment Law.

A Parliamentary source stated to IraqiNews.com “The SLC’s MPs withdrew from the Parliament session, protesting the Chairmanship’s insistence on discussing the amendment law of the IHEC.”

Earlier, some Parliamentary blocs have demanded to increase the number of the IHEC’s Commissioners from (9) to (15) members while some other blocs objected this proposal.
