Voting on Turkmen candidate for IHEC membership positive step, says Harbo

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Nabil Harbo, of the Turkmen bloc assured “The Turkmen Community has got its national merit by electing its candidate for the membership of the Independent High Electoral Commission.”

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “The Turkmen Community has got a part of its national merit because it is the third main community in Iraq.”

“The new Commissioner, Kolshan Kamal, will do her tasks independently away from the political and sectarian conflicts where her duty will be for the united Iraq,” he concluded.
