White bloc accuses Cassation Court of neglecting decisions of JAC

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The White bloc accused “The Cassation Court of neglecting the decisions of the Justice and Accountability Commission over the assistants of the former regime who confiscated Dibouni farm in Wassit province.

A statement by the bloc received by IraqiNews.com cited “The Cassation Court clearly ignore the decisions of the JAC concerning the figures of the former regime who occupy a huge farm in Dibouni district.”

“After the expire of the contracts, the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, ordered to redistribute this farm again but this order is not implemented yet,” the statement added.

“This is a violation for the Article 76, 87 which obliges redistributing the farms occupied by the figures of the former regime,” the statement concluded.

It is worth mentioning that The Secretary General of the White bloc, Jamal al-Batiekh called earlier the Federal Government to restore the lands confiscated by the assistants of the former regime to their original owners.
