Zebari briefs Foreign, Arab Foreign Ministers over Iraqi stance towards Syrian crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari Met in Switzerland today with the foreign ministers of Qatar, Kuwait and the Secretary General of the Arab League to inform them about the Iraqi stances towards the Syrian crisis prior the conference to be held later about Syria and met with foreign ministers of Russia and China.

A statement received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) from the Foreign Ministry stated that “The meeting was held upon the wishes of the participating delegations in the meeting of the International Group on Syria to recognize Iraq’s position as being one of the key participants in this group and as it is heading the Arab Summit and the neighboring country concerned with the current events in Syria.”
