Zebari discusses with Algerian PM, mutual relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Algerian Prime Minister, Abdelmalek Sellal, received the Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zebari, and his accompanying delegation.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by IraqiNews.com cited “During the meeting, the two sides discussed relations between Iraq and Algeria, ways of activating them and overcoming the existing constraints, especially the file of the Algerian detainees in Iraq.”

“The two sides stressed the convergence of views and positions of the two countries in a number of international and regional issues and the need to sustain coordination, consultation and exchange of visits between officials of the two countries. They also discussed and reviewed the activities of the 17th Ministerial Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement, held in Algeria,” the statement concluded.
