Zubaidi calls to work hard to implement project of rehabilitating Maysan

Maysan (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Citizen bloc Baqir Jabir al-Zubaidi called the legislative and executive authorities to work together to rehabilitate Maysan province.

During a conference held in Maysan about the initiative of rehabilitating Maysan, Zubaidi said “Removing the mines from the province and rehabilitating the marshes and compensate the affected people is essential step to develop the province.”

“This represents good step to support the oppressed people who suffered the injustice during the former regime,” he added.

A delegation of parliamentary Citizen bloc discussed on last Saturday with Maysan local government the project of rehabilitating Maysan to activate the initiative of the head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim.
