Deputy PM opens services projects in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Deputy Prime Minister Rafi al-Issawi on Tuesday inaugurated three streets in Baghdad’s Abu Ghraib city, according to an official statement. “During his visit to the city, Issawi reopened the old Abu Ghraib Street, in addition to two new streets in al-Zaytoun area and al-Thahab al-Abyad village,” read a statement released by Issawi’s office and received by IraqiNews.com. The official urged local residents to voice their problems to government officials. Baghdad’s Governor Hussein al-Tahhan, Staff. Lt. Gen. Abboud Qanbar, the head of Baghdad Operations Command (BOC) and several officials accompanied Issawi on his visit to the city. SS (P) 1
