Iraqi Republic Assembly to join Iraqi Slate

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Republic Assembly, chaired by Saad al-Janabi, announced joining the Iraqi Slate, headed by Ayad Allawi, to participate within the upcoming parliamentary elections.

The official spokesperson of the IRA, Abdul Star al-Duliami, reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The Iraqiya Slate, chaired by Ayad Allawi, includes (16) political entities and many senior political figures, such as Saad al-Janabi, Hamid al-Mutlag, Abd Thyab al-Ajeli and many members of the Parliament in addition to several chieftains and academic figures.”

”The Iraqiya Slate represents the varied components of the Iraqi society and will reflect the real representative that meet the expectations of Iraqis in terms of achieving security stability and better future where a united Iraq in which Iraqis can enjoy fortunes of Iraq away of the policy of elimination and marginalization,” he concluded.
