(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The Ministry of Agriculture announced the ban of live and frozen poultry’s import from 25 countries including China, South Africa and France, South Korea and North Korea.

The Director of Veterinary in the Ministry of Health Salah Fadel Abbas said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The Ministry of Health banned the import of live and frozen poultry from 25 countries based on the instructions of the World Health Organization (WHO).”

He added, “The ban includes China, South Africa, South Korea, North Korea, Niger, Bangladesh, Ivory Coast, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Cambodia, Laos, Egypt, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, India and Mnimar, as well as France.”
