Iraq to organize business forum in Erbil Monday

Erbil ( – The 10th Edition of Project Iraq exhibition will kick off Monday in the capital city of Kurdistan Region, Erbil, with the participation of 300 companies from 24 countries.

Speaking to KUNA Sunday, head of IFP group — the event’s organizer — Georges Khoury said that the exhibition provides investment and commerce opportunities in various sectors for investors within Iraq, specifically the Kurdistan region.

He expressed hope that the fair would open doors for Iraq to exchange business deals with investors in the region and the world.

Project Iraq is the country’s premier gateway to massive construction and infrastructure opportunities.

In its 10th edition in 2019, the exhibition will connect regional and international firms to Iraqi officials, decision makers, and project managers and will stimulate bilateral trade relations with the Kurdistan region and Iraq at large.

The four-day event will be held at the Erbil International Fair Ground under the auspices and support of the Kurdistan government.
