Iraqi Airways resumes flight services to Europe

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Iraqi Minister of Transportation Abdel Hussein Abtan informed that the Iraqi Airways will resume its flight services to Copenhagen in Europe starting next Sunday.

Abtan in a statement said, “Iraqi Airways will resume its flight services to Europe starting next Sunday.

“its offices in Iraq and rest of the world will start booking from Baghdad, Basra and Najaf to Copenhagen and the flights to London, Stockholm and Frankfurt will also resume in the coming days,” he further said, adding, “This procedure doesn’t mean that the ban on the Iraqi aviation is lifted. But it is considered as a very important step in this regard.”

The Minister of Transportation also praised the efforts exercised to achieve this step and called for more efforts to completely lift the ban on the Iraqi Airways.
