Iraqi Parliament ratifies its annual budget, along with budgets of SJC, FC for 2013

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Parliament ratified during regular session of last Monday its budget which is included within the federal budget of 2013.

A parliamentary source told IraqiNews.com that “The Parliament ratified during the first reading of the draft of the general budget of 2013 its budget in addition to endorsing both of the budgets of Supreme Judiciary Council and the Federal Court.”

“Each of the budgets of the Parliament, Supreme, Judiciary Council, and the Federal Court are independent of the federal budget but they are included within its sections,” noting that “the chairmanship of the Parliament received a request from some MPs in which they call the Government to submit the final accounts of 2012 budget before passing 2013 budget,” the source added.
