(IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, Oil Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi stated that Iraq’s crude oil exports will reach three million barrels per day this month, pointing out that it depends on the weather in the Gulf and the export of Kurdistan region according to the crude amounts agreed upon with the federal government.

Abdul-Mahdi said in an interview reported by Reuters and followed by IraqiNews.com, “This month, Iraq’s crude oil exports will reach three million barrels per day on average, assuming good weather conditions in the Gulf.”

Abdul-Mahdi added, “If Kurdistan delivers the agreed amounts, it will be over three million.”

The Ministry of Oil announced in early March high- oil exports in February up to 2.597 million barrels per day, pointing out that the export rates did not increase due to bad weather conditions.
