Kurdish PM discusses 2010 projects with local officials

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The prime minister of Iraq’s Kurdistan region has discussed with local officials the projects scheduled to be carried out in the region throughout 2010, an official statement said on Thursday. “On Thursday, Premier Barham Ahmed Saleh discussed with the governor of Sulaimaniya, Bahroz Mohammed, and the head of its provincial council, Kawo Abdullah, the vital projects that will be implemented in the region through the 2010 budget,” according to a statement published on the official web site of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), which is led by President Jalal al-Talabani. Sulaimaniya lies 360 km northeast of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. SS (P)/SR 2
